The Chemical Peel Home Remedy!

I've suffered from severe acne since I was nine years old, so it's safe to say that I've had very bad facial scarring and dry skin.
Well, because I've suffered with it for so long. I know what works and what doesn't work. So I am going to list them here:

What Doesn't Work:
Commercial acne products

Why?
Its simple, they'll get rid or your acne, and once you stop using them, the bumps come right back.

What really works is a balanced diet, drinking lots of water, getting lots of sleep and keeping your skin moisturized and clean.

I'd like to highlight the drinking lots of water part. Water is known to naturally cleanse and hydrate the body. Dry unhealthy skin is the ideal environment for pimples, and we all know what one pimple can lead to.....

Moving on.

The main reason for me writing this is to share my secret to getting rid of dry skin and reducing the size of pimples in a matter of 2 hours. One word:

Toothpaste

Or is that two words?

Now before I continue I must note that if you've heard that in order for the toothpaste trick to work, you should use colgate and only colgate, WRONG. Any toothpaste will work! So hit the dollar store....it'll save you a buck or two....

One day after hearing about the toothpaste pimple remedy, I decided that instead of dotting the paste onto my pimples individually, I'd just smear it all over my face making a toothpaste mask of sorts.

The usual recipe calls for it to stay on all night, but I'm a horrible sleeper and by morning, the mask would have flaked off. So instead I left it on for two hours, and then washed it off with warm water. Long story short, I noticed all my dry skin was gone, my skin was soft, my pimples had either reduced in size, or were gone, and my face looked clearer and closer to my original complexion. It was like a super cheap (Or free in my case) chemical peel. A major plus: it didn't irritate my skin at all, and trust me I have really sensitive skin.

So lets review the pathway to having clear skin:
1. Drink lots of water
2. Eat regularly and healthy
3. Get proper sleep
4. Clean Moisturized skin
5. Toothpaste mask

And thats it for me!

  1. Girl I suffered with acne my whole life as well. I'm only 20 but it seems like I've been cursed forever. LOL I use the Garnier Nutri-Pure Microbead Cream Scrub priced at $5.99 and let me PROMISE you, nothing has worked for me except this. I've taken pills, creams, even that wack ass ProActive and nothing worked. This is some good shit, seriously. I use it in the morning & before I go to bed. A healthy diet on;y helps the clearing process.

Give me feedback via email at tanaedot@gmail.com if you decide to try it... I want to blog about you. LOL Goodluck chica!
